Nabih M. Ramadan, M.D.
Dr. Nabih Ramadan is the Director of Strategy, Diamond Headache Clinic at Chicago, IL. Dr. Ramadan received his Doctor of Medicine at the American University of Beirut, completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Cincinnati and his Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Diseases at the Henry Ford Hospital and Health Sciences Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Angiologists, American Headache Society and the American Academy of Neurology. In 2006, Dr. Ramadan was awarded Headache Medicine Subspecialty Certification.
Dr. Ramadan is Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Vista Health System and he is on the Honorary Advisory Board of the National Headache Foundation.
Dr. Ramadan lectures extensively worldwide to trainees and practitioners on neurological topics, including neuropharmacology, migraine, chronic pain, and stroke. Dr. Ramadan's research interest includes headache, stroke, and pain. He has authored over 190 papers, abstracts and book chapters. Dr. Ramadan is co-editor of the recently published The Headaches, 3rd Edition, and he holds editorial positions on a number of scientific journals, including Headache and Cephalagia.
